Pine Knolls is a 200+ home residential neighborhood, located off Piney Grove rd., approximately 5 miles from downtown Kernersville North Carolina. The neighborhood is surrounded by a 72 par, 18 hole, 6,200 yard golf course. The Pine Knolls Golf Club is open to the public. There is also a neighborhood members-only pool that is open during the summer months.
The neighborhood residents enjoy annual events such as the 4th of July parade with fireworks as well as a Fall Festival in October.
Pine Knolls Property Owners Association was incorporated in the neighborhood covenants (now expired) which were originally drafted in 1969. The association accepts annual dues from property owners in the amount of $50 per calendar year. The dues are used for upkeep of the entrances, power bills for entrance lights and to support neighborhood events and activities.
